Get out of your comfort zone

When I’m not instantly good at something, I’m quick to quit. Maybe it’s the Type-A perfectionist first-child in me, but also I just don’t like looking lost and confused. It’s embarrassing. But guess what!

The first time I tried Zumba, I felt that way.
The first time I lifted weights, I felt that way.
The first time I stepped out of the locker room in just leggings and a sports bra, I felt that way.

Trying new things can be scary and intimidating. But this is how we GROW! With time, you can go from newbie to expert or even teacher. You’d be surprised what new thing you might actually enjoy. You’ve just got to give it a chance.
